The Doctor Who Festival was the seventh episode of The Fan Show, released on the Doctor Who YouTube Channel. Less than a minute long, it was not a documentary feature on Doctor Who news as other episodes, but rather composed of a comedy sketch starring show host Christel Dee as well as Luke Spillane. However, information about the titular Doctor Who Festival was still conveyed to the viewer via dialogue in the narrative skit.

Plot

Luke Spillane cannot find Christel Dee anywhere in the studios. When he finally locates her, it becomes clear that she has been prepping for the Doctor Who Festival, having very unreasonable expectations of what kind of "festival" is meant.

Notes

  • Although this goes uncommented upon, Christel's outfit is a parody of cosplay, melding together elements of various character; she is, among other things, wearing the Fourth Doctor's scarf and Jo Grant's boots.
