Christmas Night[1][2] was a TARDIS Yule Log animated Christmas webcast. This format was continued the next year with the release of Festive Thirteenth Doctor Yule Log.

Synopsis[[edit] | [edit source]]

Give your Christmas some Doctor Who cheer with a crackling fire, some festive music, and a few hidden secrets! Can you spot all the 'Twice Upon A Time' easter eggs?

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

A fireplace crackles in a house at Christmas, with a snowglobe containing the Doctor's TARDIS in the foreground.

After the first ten minutes, the Twelfth Doctor's second sonic screwdriver makes the TARDIS in the snowglobe dematerialize, replacing the Twelfth Doctor's TARDIS exterior with the the First Doctor's. Ten minutes after this, the First Doctor opens the TARDIS doors and says, "Sunglasses, indoors?" Ten minutes after this, the TARDIS dematerializes and an ad for the BBC America broadcast of Twice Upon a Time appears in the snowglobe. The TARDIS then rematerializes with the Twelfth Doctor's exterior. Ten minutes later, the Twelfth Doctor opens the TARDIS doors and says, "I am your future self." Ten minutes after this, Bill Potts opens the doors and an exchange is heard between her and the Doctor: "Come back alive." / "Be here when I do." Ten minutes after this, a clip from the beginning of Twice Upon a Time plays, showing the two Doctors meeting.

The cycle then repeats for the second hour of the Yule Log.
