Edith Renner was an antiquarian who wanted to see Madame Vastra, but encountered Strax. She wanted to enter membership of the AD Club and new of Vastra's heritage. She knew of Vastra's collection of historical artefacts from the Silurian civilisation. She was a member of the sisterhood of Ikor and wanted to release the Tenebrae. (AUDIO: The Ghost Writers)
She worked with Franz Albrecht Stuart to buy a set of lands for Anura. She had rescued Tenebrae and used it as her pet. She helped Anura in her plans to restart the world. (AUDIO: Rulers of Earth)
