Light the Flame was the first story in the audio anthology Forged in Fire, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Matt Fitton and featured Jonathon Carley as the War Doctor, Chris Jarman as Cardinal Rasmus and Adèle Anderson as Commodore Tamasan and introduced Veronica Roberts as Ohila.
This was the first release of the resumed The War Doctor series since John Hurt's death in January 2017.
Synopsis
The Sisterhood of Karn have a guest, recovering from his traumatic regeneration. To do what is asked of him, the Doctor has rejected his name and his code.
The Time Lords have plans for him and for Karn. Is he ready to light the flame of war?
