Worldbuilding
- Henry Wainwright is a 12-year-old neighbour to Madame Vastra, living at Number 12.
- To demonstrate the seriousness of her statement, Vastra refers to Jenny as "Jennifer".
Notes
- The events depicted in A Perfect Christmas are repeatedly stated to be taking place at Christmas 1885. However Vastra and Jenny did not meet Strax, or participate in the Battle of Demons Run, until 1888, as depicted in A Good Man Goes to War. As the Paternoster Gang have already celebrated Christmas together at least once, in The Red-Eyed League, the earliest that A Perfect Christmas can take place is 1889. Though there have been various dating controversies in the Whoniverse, this is the first known to be related to the Paternoster Gang.
Continuity
- Vastra recalls Kisimos trying to lure her away from Jenny and Strax the previous Christmas. (PROSE: The Red-Eyed League)
- Vastra knows the Papal Mainframe have a vendetta against the Paternoster Gang, due to their part in the Battle of Demons Run. (TV: A Good Man Goes to War)
- Tasha Lem died at Christmas during the Siege of Trenzalore. (TV: The Time of the Doctor)
