Summary

A childhood stuffed toy evokes memories for Shardovan, who is seeking reassurance about his past. But this innocent-looking toy just doesn't feel right somehow...

  • In the accompanying illustration by Andy Lambert, the spine of one of the books standing on the shelf (on the far left) can be seen to bear the name ANDY LAMBERT, though the last four letters of the surname are obscured by three books in the foreground — an in-joke reference included by Lambert himself.
