Biography

In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the Master used Rupert to organise his media interests on Earth. Rupert's brain, however, had been swapped for the brain of a Bandril. (PROSE: A letter from the Master [+]Loading...["A letter from the Master (short story)"])

Cleo Proctor claimed that Shawna Thompson did not really believe in the mysterious happenings that they talked about on their The Blue Box Files podcast, instead believing that "everything is the FBI or CIA or Rupert Murdoch". (AUDIO: Lost [+]Loading...["Lost (audio story)"])

Behind the scenes

When Rupert Murdoch was first referenced in A letter from the Master, he was only identified by his first name; the audio drama Lost would later fully name him.
