Drogann was one of three lead vampires on board a coffin ship in the Dark Times, alongside Korsta and one other. He controlled the common vampires on board the ship, but served under Friar Grystok and, by extension, the Three Mad Sisters.
When the Ninth Doctor landed on the coffin ship to rescue the kidnapped Rose Tyler, he and Medicus Androkan were caught by Drogann and his backup.
