Scoop! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Stingray comic story Curse of the Crustavons, which was a crossover with the DWU.

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The "most fantastic film ever taken" was received in TV Century 21's offices in the morning of 17 April. It was taken by the W.A.S.P. vessel Stingray and shows the destruction of the Crustavon Star City deep in the Atlantic.
- The film was automatically relayed to Marineville by a new underwater process called Subsonic Aquascan.
- Officials at Space City are puzzled by the loss of radio contact with the passenger space liner WSW 193. A spokesperson for World Space Ways, owners of WSW 193, told reporters the ship is "the safest thing that flies" and that there is "absolutely no cause" for alarm.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story is another crossover with Stingray and Fireball XL5.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- At dawn, Paris was attacked by an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. The city's state as a burning ruin is believed to be a retaliation by the Crustavons. (COMIC: Curse of the Crustavons)
- It is reported that the Crustavons can still cause the world havoc from their suspected hidden base in the Brazilian jungle. (PROSE: Jungle Terror!, Stingray Hunts Aliens)
