Landslide! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article made reference to the Captain Scarlet content in the issue with smaller pieces tying-in to the Thunderbirds comic story City of Doom [+]Loading...["City of Doom (comic story)"] and the Department S comic story The Big Tip-Off! [+]Loading...["The Big Tip-Off! (comic story)"], which were crossovers with the DWU.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

An explosion occurs in the plains of the Sinai Desert, blanketing the area with a tinge of death and destruction and resulting in a landslide which completely envelops the foothills. With fears growing that a research team of archaeologists who were excavating nearby have been killed, Captain Scarlet and Captain Grey are immediately despatched to look into possible signs of Mysteron activity.

Meanwhile, police departments across the Earth are sent into pandemonium as they all receive multitudes of annoymous telephone calls which reveal detailed information on many of the world's leading crime syndicates. The police act on this information and make several arrests, with top security branch Department S being called in to investigate the origin of these unexpected tip-offs.

Finally, Jeff Tracy and Brains Hackenbacker involve themselves in an aircraft hi-jack over the Amazon seemingly taking place for "political reasons".
