Pete Quill, also known as the "Star-Lord", was a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy in Earth-616.

Quill recruited Rocket Raccoon to the team after Rocket was betrayed by Otta Spice and arrested. Rocket recalled this upon meeting Otta again. (COMIC: "The Damsel" [+]Part of The Blue River Score, Loading...{"namedpart":"The Damsel","1":"The Blue River Score (comic story)"})
At some point, he got Chitauri blood in his hair, and discovered that Kymellian saunas had no towels, which he found "intimidating".
