Introduction for Field Agents was the opening section of The Player's Manual which introduced players to FASA's The Doctor Who Role Playing Game. It outlined the universe which the game took place in, introducing players to their roles as CIA field operatives.
Summary
An opening section introduces the concept of a role playing game and how to play it.
The next section details how players fit into the Doctor Who universe. They are playing a team of CIA field operatives led by an Apprentice Time Lord working for the Celestial Intervention Agency who has stolen a Apprentice Time Lord's TARDIS from a repair station on Gallifrey and picked up adventurous companions from Earth to aid in their quest to restore the flow of time.
A third section outlines the rest of the content in The Player's Manual.
