The Ninth Doctor vs the Cybermen was a promotional mini-episode for The Ninth Doctor Adventures produced by Big Finish Productions. It was published on 23 November 2021, the 58th anniversary of Doctor Who.
Its primary function was to advertise Lost Warriors, the simultaneously-released third anthology in The Ninth Doctor Adventures range.
Cast[[edit] | [edit source]]
Crew[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Trailer - Chris Thompson
- Music - Howard Carter
- Additional VFX - David Burgess
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
While the trailer does briefly feature a vehicle what looks like the Mole, an International Rescue vehicle regularly seen in Thunderbirds, as part of "the waste and detritus" from the Last Great Time War in "a junkyard stretching across eternity", the main VFX artist for this trailer Chris Thompson confirmed on Twitter that this was actually a "Dalek Drill ship" which had previously featured on the cover art for the first The War Doctor anthology Only the Monstrous.[1]
