Police 5: The Master (also sometimes referred to as Crime File - The Master) was a short crime file about "master criminal" the Master. It was broadcast for the 30th anniversary year of Doctor Who .

The story was a DWU edition of Shaw Taylor's long-running five-minute ITV crime prevention series Police 5 (1962-1990).

It aired on BBC One alongside a repeat airing of Planet of the Daleks episode five, as part of a series of featurettes called Doctor Who and the Daleks.
