Cleopatra VII (69 B.C. - 30 B.C.) was queen of Egypt and the consort of Mark Antony. (MA: State of Change) She was Greek, although it was a common mistake to think she was Egyptian. Cleopatra was abducted by Momus while she had Mark Anthony waiting in her studio. (WC: The Lonely Computer) On the duplicate Earth known as Terra Nova, Cleopatra and Mark Antony won the battle of Actium and had three children. (MA: State of Change). Later accounts of her beauty were greatly exaggerated. (NSA: Ghosts of India)
References
- The Fourth Doctor claimed to have learned swordsmanship from a captain in Cleopatra's bodyguard. (DW: The Masque of Mandragora)
- The Sixth Doctor and Peri watched Cleopatra's barge on the River Nile. (MA: State of Change)
- Mickey Smith implied that the Doctor had had some romantic history with Cleopatra for a while, and that he affectionately called her "Cleo." (DW: The Girl in the Fireplace) The Tenth Doctor later confirmed this. (NSA: Ghosts of India)
- In 102 AD, River Song pretended to be Cleopatra and used her Hallucinogenic lipstick on a Roman guard to fool him, even though the real Cleopatra died 132 years before River arrived. (DW: The Pandorica Opens)
- The Fifth Doctor had met Cleopatra at some point prior to the events of BFA: Loups-Garoux; he described her as having "the succour and grace of a carpet flea". (BFA: Loups-Garoux)
