Terra Nova was an alternate Earth created by the entity known as Iam. The Sixth Doctor and the First Rani were trapped on Terra Nova during its Roman Empire era. These Romans had developed electricity, airships, steam-driven galleys, and broadcast radio. The Rani had tried to manipulate the three children of Terra Nova's Cleopatra VII, but failed.
