Doctor Who: Angels in the Shadows was the second purchasable level pack of the game Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time.[1]

Summary[[edit]]

The Doctor and Amy end up in the lost city of Anglica on the 23 March 1526 because the Doctor wants to find out why the city vanished on that day.

As soon as they arrive, they walk into rooms full of Weeping Angels with very little light. The Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver as a torch. All you have to do is to make sure Amy doesn't walk into any shadows!

It isn't always that easy to outrun the Weeping Angels as they're fast! And they're clever, so watch out for any traps they might set.

Plot[[edit]]

On 23 March 1526 the Doctor and Amy go to the town because the Doctor wants to find out why it vanished on that day. After getting out of the TARDIS and walking around they see Weeping Angels. The Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver as a torch. Then Amy is lured into a trap by the Weeping Angels. She is sent eighty years into the past. The Doctor travels with the TARDIS to 1446 and saves Amy. Since the angels are too strong in 1446 Amy and the Doctor use the TARDIS to get back to 1526. They walk around and see that the angels are attacking the TARDIS. They try to get inside since the energy in there could feed them for centuries. But it is all going according to the Doctors plan. The Angels are unable to break eye-contact. The Doctor tells Amy that without food it's only a matter of time before the Weeping Angels become nothing more than statues. Amy tells the Doctor that the lost city of Angelica is found now! The Doctor replies that this way it was never lost. Then the Doctor and Amy leave Anglica with the TARDIS.
