The [[Sixth Doctor]] and [[Frobisher]] are traveling in the [[TARDIS]] on their way to meet [[Peri]] for a baseball game on Earth when the TARDIS is hit by a time cannon -- a technology which only [[Gallifrey]] is supposed to possess.  Intent on finding the cannon and destroying it, The Doctor materializes the TARDIS at the cannon's origin point on the planet Hedron.  The Hedrons had used the cannon to destroy all traces of genetic imperfection in their species.
After a [[time cannon]] hits [[the Doctor's TARDIS|the TARDIS]], the [[Sixth Doctor]] and [[Frobisher]] find themselves among a [[Hedron (species)|people]] who are disrupting time's correct path.


As The Doctor and Frobisher exit the TARDIS they are captured by a robot and placed with the other genetic imperfection and hit with the time cannon which sends them back to prehistoric Earth. Luckily, the TARDIS is also hit by the canon and travels with them. The Doctor locates the cube of genetic imperfections and takes it with him in order to prevent it from contaminating life on Earth. But before he and Frobisher can reenter the TARDIS, bodies of dead Hedrons begin to appear.  It seams as if the Hedrons are continuing to use their cannon.

The [[Sixth Doctor]] and [[Frobisher]] are travelling in [[The Doctor's TARDIS|the TARDIS]] to pick her up when they are hit by a [[time cannon]] — technology only [[Gallifrey]] is supposed to have. To find and destroy it, the Doctor materialises the TARDIS near the cannon on the [[planet]] [[Hedron]]. The Hedrons have used the cannon to destroy all traces of [[DNA|genetic]] imperfection in their species.


Although he is desperate to prevent the Hedrons from contaminating earth any further, he decides that he should pick up Peri in case she could help talk to the Hedrons. Unfortunately, the nearest object was a sphere containing Hedron genetic material which smashes open causing the dinosaur to flee but also irreversibly contaminating prehistoric Earth.

Time Bomb was a Sixth Doctor comic strip published in Doctor Who Magazine. It dealt with some of the issues involved in the alteration of history.

After a time cannon hits the TARDIS, the Sixth Doctor and Frobisher find themselves among a people who are disrupting time's correct path.

Peri Brown has been dropped off in New York City to see the Dodgers play baseball. The Sixth Doctor and Frobisher are travelling in the TARDIS to pick her up when they are hit by a time cannon — technology only Gallifrey is supposed to have. To find and destroy it, the Doctor materialises the TARDIS near the cannon on the planet Hedron. The Hedrons have used the cannon to destroy all traces of genetic imperfection in their species.
