Khnum was a ram-headed god in ancient Egypt. The Third Doctor showed a slide show at The Cloven Hoof that featured Khnum depicted with a solar disc above his horns. He suggested that the image of horned gods was influenced by the Dæmons. (TV: The Dæmons)
