The alternate Bernice Summerfield that joined the Fifth Axis reflected in Hass' visor. (PROSE: Something Changed)

In a timeline created by Doggles' history machine, the Axis attacked the Braxiatel Collection in 2601 and brainwashed some of its staff. Bernice Summerfield and Clarissa Jones were among those captured. All their memories of life before joining the Axis were blocked. The Axis continued to expand, gaining outposts as far as Amaterasu and the Markland cluster. Five years after the brainwashing, Summerfield was sent to the Collection to assassinate Irving Braxiatel, but her Axis programming was broken after she saw the grave of her son. (PROSE: The Ice Garden [+]Loading...["The Ice Garden (short story)"])

In another timeline created by the machine, the Axis occupation of the Braxiatel Collection continued into 2606. (PROSE: Dead Mice [+]Loading...["Dead Mice (short story)"])
