Anderson was a friend of Bernice Summerfield who was writing a research paper while at the Braxiatel Collection. According to Benny, he was an "infuriating git" but "hideously cute".
One day when they met for lunch, Anderson was admiring a temporal anthropologist named Porl Tomas. Anderson wanted Benny to ask Porl if he was gay, but she refused. When Benny became involved in a relationship with Porl, she often told Anderson the details. (PROSE: Step Back in Time)
