The Sydney Morning Globe was an Australian newspaper which on 12 July, 1979, offered $20,000 to anyone who could provide genuine pieces of Skylab debris. Harvey attempted to take his Skylab debris to the newspaper, unaware that the "debris" was in fact an escape pod from a Zalphon scout ship which had collided with Skylab, and that the newspaper's editor Wade Johnson had been taken over by a Zalphon.
