Elton Laleham was a technician aboard the Wheel.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Elton Laleham had an American accent, suggesting his country of origin. (TV: The Wheel in Space) He was, by 2000, (TV: The Mind Robber; AUDIO: Prison in Space) 2079 (AUDIO: The Dying Light) or later, (PROSE: The Indestructible Man) working as a technician aboard the Wheel.

Laleham and Armand Vallance worked to prepare the x-ray laser for use on Silver Carrier. (PROSE: The Wheel in Space) The two space-walked to the rocket, where they were hypnotised by the Cybermen and made to smuggle them aboard the Wheel in a box of Bernalium. They watched and covered up Chang's murder.

When Sean Flannigan became suspicious of the pair, Laleham and Vallance attacked him (TV: The Wheel in Space) but stood little chance due to their delayed reactions. (PROSE: The Wheel in Space) Vallance attempted to kill Flannigan with a blaster but accidentally killed Laleham, whose place was taken by a hypnotised Flannigan. Vallance and Flannigan disposed of Laleham's body. (TV: The Wheel in Space)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Laleham's first name was not used onscreen nor in the novelisation and appears only in the credits.
