Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

This incarnation of Romana, played by Liv Spencer,[1] was original to Time Fracture, an immersive experience created as part of the Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious event. Due to the nature of immersive experiences varying with every performance, this Wiki does not consider it a valid source.

The character is not given an incarnation number in any source, though Spencer made a Twitter post with a photomontage showing, from left to right, Mary Tamm's Romana I, Lalla Ward's Romana II, and Spencer herself.[2] This Romana resembles neither the Romana III of the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures nor the Trey of the Big Finish audio dramas, and it is not made clear how they relate to these versions.

This incarnation was referred to as a "Lord" in a promotional feature, in which gender specific . However, this was to accommodate the possibility of actors of different genders performing the role, as, within the experience itself, Liv Spencer and her understudy, also female, used their own pronouns, and were referred to as "Lady Romana".
