Indestructible Army! was a Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons comic story printed in TV Century 21 in 1968.
It mentioned the location of Unity City, first introduced in The Daleks story Duel of the Daleks, thus constituting a crossover with the Doctor Who universe.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
to be added
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Captain Scarlet
- Captain Blue
- Colonel White
- Doctor Fawn
- Captain Magenta
- Captain Ochre
- Lieutenant Green
- Destiny Angel
- Harmony Angel
- Captain Black
- Professor Vian
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Rumours sweep through Unity City that Blue is scheduled to go before a Spectrum firing squad, with the crime of which he is accused and whether a trial has taken place both unknowns.
- A Spectrum helicopter can get from Cloudbase to Professor Vian's island in the South Pacific within an hour whereas an Angel aircraft can arrive there in forty-nine minutes.
- Black threatens Fawn with mysteronisation multiple times.
- Vian makes use of an automatic missile screen and a force-field, which does not extend below water level, to shield his island from the Angels' fire.
- Scarlet and several other Spectrum agents use laser cutters to break into Vian's laboratory from an underground cave.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Like most of TV Century 21's comic stories from the same period, this comic serial was not given a title in the pages of TV Century 21 during its original printing; the title instead comes from later reference sources.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- The force-field belt is effective against even electrode weapons. (COMIC: Martian Menace, Traitor Black Gives In!)
