- 1968 - Pre-filming for The Wheel in Space began at Ealing Studios. (TCH 12)

- 2000 - The Big Finish audio story Winter for the Adept was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2002 - The Big Finish audio story Excelis Decays was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2004 - The Big Finish audio story Medicinal Purposes was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2008 - The Big Finish audio anthology The Death Collectors was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2009
- In a speech to members of BAFTA, Russell T Davies revealed production of series 3 of The Sarah Jane Adventures had been impacted by BBC budget cuts and had nearly been cancelled on three occasions.
- The Big Finish audio story Patient Zero was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2010 - A BBC press screening was held for The Eleventh Hour, during which producer Piers Wenger officially announced that a 2010 Christmas special was planned, and production of series 6 was set to begin in July.
- 2013 - The Big Finish audio story 1963: Fanfare for the Common Men was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2015 - The read-through for The Girl Who Died took place.

- Big Finish's audio anthology The Eighth Doctor: Time War: Volume Three was recorded.
- Big Finish's Torchwood One: Latter Days was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- Big Finish announced that Ajjaz Awad had been cast as the First Doctor's companion Katarina, previously portrayed by the late Adrienne Hill, for the audio adventure Daughter of the Gods.
- 2022 - Big Finish announced details on the audio anthology Back to Earth.
