The Silver Bullet was a comic book created by Clyde Langer. In the comic, the Silver Bullet was a superhero who fought crime in the fictional Blood River City.

Rani Chandra and Sarah Jane Smith were quite impressed by Clyde's work on the comic, until the influence of Hetocumtek turned them against him. Clyde later used his comic pages as kindling to start a fire for himself and Ellie Faber. (TV: The Curse of Clyde Langer)

Some time later, Clyde found commercial success with this series, and was involved in adapting The Silver Bullet into a movie. (WC: Farewell, Sarah Jane) It later became a series. (TV: The Three Doctors)
