On 26 March, a number of things set in or relevant to the Doctor Who universe were released or published.
- 1966 - "The Bomb" was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1966 - Part two of TV Comic story Plague of the Black Scorpi was first published.
- 1966 - Part four of The Rogue Planet was first published in TV Century 21.
- 1977 - Part five of The Talons of Weng-Chiang was first broadcast on BBC1.
- 1977 - Part two of TV Comic story The Fire Feeders was first published.
- 1980 - Part six of Doctor Who Weekly comic story Doctor Who and the Star Beast and part two of Ship of Fools were first published.
- 2005 - A New Dimension, sometimes considered to be the first episode of Doctor Who Confidential, aired on BBC One. Rose followed, and was first broadcast on BBC One, beginning series one of Doctor Who, and recommencing regular transmission of new Doctor Who on the network for the first time since 6 December 1989. Later, Bringing Back the Doctor, the first regular episode of Confidential, aired on BBC Three.
- 2007 - DVD box set Torchwood: Series 1, part 3, including Out of Time, Combat and Captain Jack Harkness, was first released in Region 2.
- 2009 - The Depths of Despair and The Colour of Darkness were first published by BBC Children's Books.
- 2009 - Doctor Who Adventures comic story Good Old Days was first published.
