Taylor's other credits included roles on The Avengers, The Plane Makers, Z-Cars, Public Eye and Blake's 7. He later moved into directing, helming episodes of Softly, Softly, The First Lady, The Troubleshooters, Within These Walls, Z-Cars, Crossroads, Eastenders and Coronation Street.
