James Clarke was a friend of Katherine Chambers from university. He was interested in the cyber conversion technology and its use by the Forge. He kidnapped Tegan Jovanka to test out the system he had created, and cure her of her tumour. He backed up a copy of system before Nathaniel Chambers destroyed it and promptly disappeared.
