On 20 March, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1964 - "The Sea of Death" was recorded at Lime Grove Studios. (INFO: "The Sea of Death")
- 2000 - Recording for Winter for the Adept took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2002 - Several years after the initial filing, the matter of the London Metropolitan Police District's 1998 opposition to the BBC's 1996 application for trademark status on the police box design was heard in court.
- 2004 - The BBC announced that Christopher Eccleston had been cast as the Ninth Doctor in the new series. The same day, the Daily Mail ran an erroneous story indicating that Bill Nighy had been cast as the Doctor.[1]
- 2006 - Recording for The Reaping took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2012 - Recording for The Burning Prince took place at The Moat Studios.
