On 6 February, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1968 - Location filming for Fury from the Deep continued. (TCH 12)
- 2000 - Recording for The Spectre of Lanyon Moor took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2007 - Recording for Son of the Dragon and Exotron took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2010 - Noted fantasy writer Neil Gaiman announced via his blog that he would write an episode of Doctor Who for the 2011 series. This was also the first indication that the series was expected to continue beyond 2010.
- 2012 - Recording for The Dalek Contract took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2013 - Recording for Daleks Among Us took place at The Moat Studios.
- 2019 - The audiobook version of Professor Bernice Summerfield and the Infernal Nexus was recorded at Audio Sorcery.
