The Brigadier was a human from Earth who worked with Sarah Jane and Doctor Why to defend the planet from alien invasions.
Biography
Like Sarah Jane, the Brigadier was a recurring acquaintance of the time traveller Doctor Why, although it would be a stretch to consider them friends, as the Brigadier was perpetually exasperated by the Doctor's eccentricities while the Doctor himself personally believed the Brigadier to be "a buffoon". During the course of his acquaintance with the Doctor, he learned that some of the hostile aliens who might want to steal the Doctor's TARDis were the Time Lords and the Cybermen.
Contacted by Home Office about the trouble Why was causing by keeping his TARDIS packed in inconvenient places in London (such as atop the Post Office Tower), he visited the TARDIS with Sarah Jane just in time for the Doctor to realise that he was under attack from the Wheeltuppers and the Shonters. As such, he was taken along when the Doctor dematerialised in a state of emergency. During his trip, he also came across another denizen of the TARDIS, the insane Dalek Doreen. (NOTVALID: Hallo My Dalek)

Behind the scenes
- This Brigadier, who is never named in full, is obviously a parody of Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, "the Brigadier" from Doctor Who proper.
