Behind the scenes
Who Was 'Ere!, one of the parodical comic stories in The Doctor Who Fun Book, which took a comedic look at the Doctor's influence on Earth's history and on popular culture and mythology, featured a take on the famous "cherry tree" story told of the real-world George Washington: in this version of events, it was actually the Fourth Doctor who destroyed the tree by landing the TARDIS on top of it. The scene featured a silent cameo by George Washington's father, who has not appeared in any stories considered valid on this Wiki.
