The Avenues of Possibility was the fifth story in the audio anthology The Legacy of Time, produced by Big Finish Productions. It was written by Jonathan Morris and featured Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor, India Fisher as Charlotte Pollard and Anna Hope as DI Patricia Menzies.

DI Patricia Menzies is used to the strange, but even she is surprised when the eighteenth century itself falls onto her patch. Fortunately, she has the founders of modern policing to help with her enquiries.
