Revision as of 14:39, 9 September 2021

This page should be merged.

It should be relocated at Coronet of Rassilon because Imperiatrix describes the Coronet of Rassilon as "part of the Matrix", simply tying back to its use in Invasion of Time — and in Warmonger the Coronet of Rassilon is described as one of the symbols of Presidential office alongside the Sash and the Rod, a part filled by the Crown in Invasion of Time. Aside from the props looking a little different, is there any account to dispute that those are one and the same object?
Talk about it here or check the revision history for additional comments.

The Coronet of Rassilon, (AUDIO: Gallifrey) or Circlet, was one of the many technological artefacts created by Rassilon, and was one of the Presidential Regalia of Gallifrey. It was used to access the Matrix on Gallifrey. (TV: The Invasion of Time)

History

The crown was used by President Borusa to access the Matrix during another attempt by Omega to return to his native universe. It was used to find ways to deal with Omega and find the correct wording for the execution warrant for the Fifth Doctor. (TV: Arc of Infinity)

Pandora manifested herself through the crown when President Romana II placed it upon her head after she declared herself Imperiatrix and took it from K9 so that he could save Leela, Darkel, Narvin, her and the chapters from bombs planted in the council chambers by Antimon. (AUDIO: Imperiatrix)
