Vespiforms were an example of giant wasps. (TV: The Unicorn and the Wasp) A seemingly-unrelated species known simply as Giant Wasps were long-time minions created by Rebel Quarks. (COMIC: The Killer Wasps, PROSE: Synthespians™) Jack Harkness claimed the Rebel Quarks were rumoured to have once engaged in a war with the Vespiforms, although he did not personally believe this. (WC: Monster File: Vespiform)
