Holborn

Holborn was a district in London.

During the London Event, a group of British Army soldiers made an ammunition run to the London Underground station at Holborn, but it was attacked by Yeti. The only survivors were Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart and the driver, Evans. Captain Ben Knight and Corporal Lane retrieved some of the ammunition and explosives from Holborn and tried unsuccessfully to destroy the Yeti with it. (TV: The Web of Fear)

The Library of St John the Beheaded was located in Holborn, in the area known as the St Giles Rookery. (PROSE: All-Consuming Fire, Millennial Rites)

A notable landmark in Holden was St. Joseph's Church. During the Second World War, the church was hit by a V2 rocket. However, it was not destroyed by the blast and was still standing in 1965. (AUDIO: The Fifth Citadel)
