Fenella Wibbsey, (PROSE: Local Museum curatress vanishes [+]Loading...["Local Museum curatress vanishes (short story)"]) sometimes instead named Fenella Frimbly, (PROSE: Mrs Frimbly's Festive Diary) was the Fourth Doctor's housekeeper at Nest Cottage.

Biography

Meeting the Doctor

Mrs Wibbsey was originally a resident of the English seaside town of Cromer, where she worked as curator of the Cromer Palace of Curios. The Doctor arrived in the town in 1932, chasing a swarm of alien Hornets. While investigating a set of ballet shoes that were part of the collection, the Doctor found the shoes and Mrs Wibbsey were infested with the Hornets. After breaking the Hornets' control, he took her to 2009 Sussex, where he employed her as the housekeeper in his English countryside home, Nest Cottage. (AUDIO: The Dead Shoes)

Whilst working as housekeeper, Mrs Wibbsey was frequently taken over by the Hornets, but was hypnotised by the Doctor to keep her out of their control. After many months, the Doctor, with the help of Wibbsey and Mike Yates, gained the upper hand and banished the Hornets' queen from our universe, freeing her from their influence. (AUDIO: The Stuff of Nightmares, Hive of Horror)

Further adventures

This section's awfully stubby.

Everything from Serpent Crest, The Thing from the Sea & The Winged Coven needs to be added.

A year later, Mrs Wibbsey accidentally sold a vital part of the Doctor's TARDIS at a church rummage sale, trading it to a mysterious gentleman for a bag of items. The Doctor used the items as clues to track down the part and the gentleman that had it. As part of that pursuit, the Doctor took Mrs Wibbsey to England in Roman times, where she played the part of the goddess Wibbsentia to a local Celtic tribe. (AUDIO: The Relics of Time)

Other legs of the pursuit took the two to 19th century Paris and New York City in 1976, where it became clear they were on the trail of a demon. (AUDIO: The Demon of Paris, Starfall)

The Doctor, Mike Yates and Mrs Wibbsey finally cornered the Demon at Sepulchre, a house on the edge of the universe. There, Mrs Wibbsey revealed that she had again been taken over by the Hornets. The Demon had been employed to set a trap for the Doctor, to extract the Doctor's knowledge and use it to retrieve the lost Hornet queen. Some dimensional rearrangements by the Doctor supposedly eradicated the Hornets, permanently freeing Wibbsey from their control. (AUDIO: Sepulchre)

Iris Wildthyme once held a party in Hobbe's End in 1972 which Mrs Wibbsey attended. (PROSE: From Wildthyme with Love)
