Elizabeth Klein, a time traveller from the 1965 of an alternative timeline in which Nazi Germany won the Second World War, soon arrived in Colditz Castle using the Doctor's TARDIS. Circa November, three months after the Sixth Doctor and Constance Clarke left Earth, they returned to London. Constance had decided to stop travelling with the Doctor after an adventure on Teymah and they intended to part ways. However, while Constance caught up on the mail she had been sent during her absence, Kinvar approached the Doctor and asked for help in escaping the Vilal.
