Degrees of Truth is a Short Trips story exclusive to the audio version of the printed anthology Short Trips. The story was later re-issued as part of Tales from the TARDIS: Volume One.

- This story deals with the death of Private Carver, a formerly unnamed UNIT soldier who was killed during the events of The Dæmons.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Private Carver was a soldier who was killed by Gargoyle Bok. (TV: The Dæmons)
- Carver had been told, by his follow UNIT soldiers, about Yeti (TV: The Web of Fear), Cyberman (TV: The Invasion, Audio: The Blue Tooth), and Silurians (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians) though he didn't believe them.
- The Master was recently imprisoned (TV: The Dæmons) but has already made an escape attempt using the Freedom cooperation. (PROSE: Freedom)
