The Scientist Dalek was an orange Dalek created by the Progenitor device. It acted as a scientist for the new Dalek Empire. It escaped through a time corridor. The name suggested that the Scientist would be in charge of sciences and technologies for the Dalek strategems and design bio and mechanical weapons. (DW: Victory of the Daleks)
Several Scientist Daleks were seen patrolling Kaalann.(VG: City of the Daleks)the reason why is that since they are scientists they where developing and nutring Kaalann.
Behind the scenes
- Mark Gatiss coined the name.
- Although the Supreme, Drone and Eternal have been reported to return in The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang[1], it is unknown if the Scientist will.
