*Sub Zero was a Third Doctor comic story published in TV Action.

Summary

The Daleks hijack an atomic submarine and launch its missiles at Sydney, Australia. They plan to establish a base in the ruins, convert the survivors into Daleks, then destroy the rest of the world!

Characters

References

  • The Daleks recognise the Doctor in this story.
  • The Daleks can control human minds by touching a gold-coloured cube to their foreheads (an improvement over the Robomen).

Notes

  • Reprinted in Doctor Who Classic Comics Issue 5
  • Strangely, the launch of the Daleks' atomic missile attack on Sydney only has the effect of destroying the famous Harbour Bridge. Perhaps they forgot to load the warheads?!

Continuity

  • The destruction of Sydney Harbour Bridge has been ignored by every other piece of Doctor Who fiction.
