DWBIT
ok, you've convinced me, i only have one more question, but it is not related to Faction Paradox, it is about the images in the "Battles of Time" comic strips. why have have they been mostly removed? Even the image that is used in the Quarsian article is gone, some of the comic images that were used in the comic's infoboxes have been removed and replaced with an image of the previous story.. Non-DWU/canon categories.
I notice that one of the non-DWU categories still has/was mistakenly added after the mass move "non-canonical", namely Category:Non-canonical Gallifreyans. Is there enough of them to require the page? Or should that be a super-category for Category:Non-DWU Doctors and Category:Non-DWU versions of the Master? -- Tybort (talk page) 21:38, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
FP Wiki
Yeah, that's fine I can be a bureaucrat over there. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:57, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind next time.Icecreamdif talk to me 15:33, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
Randomised feature articles
I do remember those! Sort of. I remember putting 'write some FA stuff' on my to do list and promptly forgot about it / got distracted by the many other things I randomly do.
Just a side question, (though I'm sure you've got everything in hand) the update that's coming for Wikia's MediaWiki, that's not going to cause any major issues is it? I just become slightly concerned about it considering all the changes you've made around here (all good, just worrisome when Wikia update/change stuff). --Tangerineduel / talk 13:59, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
HiFi
HiFi may not be Panda, but he is a stuffed panda. As the Doctor said, "That is the dematerializing control. And that, over yonder, is the horizontal hold. Up there is the scanner, those are the doors, that is a chair with a panda on it. Sheer poetry, dear boy! Now please stop bothering me." As such, I think that a mention of HiFi on the Panda page isn't completely out of line. —Josiah Rowe talk to me 02:47, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, the "list of appearances" might be taking things a bit too far. I think that part of the conceit of Panda is the possibility that he might, somehow, be HiFi (perhaps given intelligence and a drinking problem some time after his time with Steven), but it's nothing more than a possibility, and I don't think that there's enough to support it in Iris Wildthyme stories (at least the ones I've heard/read) to justify listing HiFi's appearances in Panda - List of Appearances. I'll put the hatnote back on Panda, though. —Josiah Rowe talk to me 03:10, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Never mind, I see that you've already done it. (Do you think he's some other sort of stuffed animal?) —Josiah Rowe talk to me 03:12, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I never thought he was a panda. I mean I know the Doctor says that, but I thought he was just sorta generalising. It doesn't particularly look like a panda. Besides, why would a guy from centuries in the future have a panda stuffed animal? Pandas will be extinct then, surely.

- My daughter has a stuffed dinosaur. And HiFi looks as much like a panda as your standard teddy looks like ursus arctos. I always assumed he was a stuffed panda bear (with the obligatory caveat that pandas aren't actually bears). —Josiah Rowe talk to me 03:37, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
More page moving
Peter Miles needs moving to Peter Miles (actor) and the redirect suppressed, unless there's another person by that name. -- Tybort (talk page) 15:56, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
FP wiki
I have a question related to the migration of content from Tardis to Faction Paradox Wiki. Which admin should I pass that question to? -- Tybort (talk page) 19:15, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
joseph0505
I've just reverted The TARDIS Worshippers (comic story) to you last version, but you might wish to check Joseph0505's last version before I did so.Boblipton talk to me 22:28, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
Locked template page
On Template:DWTV, The Dalek Invasion of Earth is misspelt as The Daleks Invasion of Earth. Also, should the Night and the Doctor episodes mention the individual parts? And the bit about non-canonical; I'm guessing that should be changed to "we don't cover them" or "these aren't valid sources". -- Tybort (talk page) 11:04, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
The Romanian Version Main Page
I changed the main page of the romanian version. Do you like it? Dragonulteo talk to me 15:42, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
Meanwhile in the TARDIS
I've been doing some work on the article for the Meanwhile in the TARDIS mini-scenes, splitting it into two articles to match the format set by the Prequels and Night and the Doctor. Could you check whether I've created the articles properly? In particular I am concerned about whether they should feature the TV Story suffix, and if the numbering is appropriate. The articles are Meanwhile in the TARDIS 1 and Meanwhile in the TARDIS 2. Eladkse (talk) 16:41, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
- That's one of the things I was concerned about. I don't know how they were/are differentiated on the DVD, but the Internet generally uses 1 and 2. That's why I asked you. :P Eladkse (talk) 17:00, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
- I'll bear that all in mind, and get a forum post up when I next get a chance. I would like to point out that some of the things you mention need fixing I copied straight from the Night and the Doctor series of articles, so I think someone needs to look at them at some point just to make sure they comply. ǝsʞpɐןǝ (talk page) 19:21, 23/06/2012
Wiki backdrop
Hey, Czech, would it be cool if I suggested that we change the backdrop of the wiki to include and/or feature Liz Shaw (Or what I really want is Caroline John), I think that would be appropriate. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 10:55, June 24, 2012 (UTC)
Canon policy name
Just a random thought. Would "Inclusion policy" be a better name than canon policy? That name seems to just cause endless problems. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:13, June 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I totally understand. As I said, it was a bit of a random thought. I've got to start writing more "random thoughts" in text edit and then letting them sit for a day or two to muse on them before annoying other people with them.
- It all looks good though the valid sources and everything, very easy to understand the big blue boxes, white text and everything.
- I'm still intending to create do some work on the Article of the Month preloads so there's more, but just haven't really been enthused enough to do anything (I've got to stop going to the Canon policy talk page!). --Tangerineduel / talk 10:22, July 1, 2012 (UTC)
Just to check
So, checking T:VALID about Battles in Time...I'm guessing anything about Daleks that's labelled along the lines of (DWBIT: #1) is not okay, as it doesn't lead to a specific story but non-narrative stuff? -- Tybort (talk page) 12:44, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
- Likewise, is the Last Great Time War stuff from the Doctor Who Annual 2006 not a narrative? -- Tybort (talk page) 17:57, July 3, 2012 (UTC)
Comic-Con
Greetings! You may already know, but Dr. Who will be involved with Comic-Con this year. Wikia will have a physical presence at the 'Con once again, and we've created this badge: {{w:CC2012-live}}
to remind users of this, and provide them with a link to Comic-Con Wiki. There, we will be updating live for the duration of the event with images, info, and exclusives for those users who are unable to be there in person. Would you be willing to allow this badge on the main page here (hopefully at the top of the right column) until the conclusion of the event? Please hit me up on my TALK PAGE and let me know either way so I can add it, or make a note that you've declined affiliation. You're welcome to add it yourself using the code above, but please drop me a note as well so I can track which wikis are participating. Thank you for your time! :)
