The Name of the Doctor was the thirteenth and the last episode of the seventh series of Doctor Who produced by BBC Wales.
Synopsis
Vastra is gathering Jenny, Strax, Clara and River, but everything goes wrong when The deadly Whisper Men take over the gathering. Clara wakes up in the Maitland family house, and finds the Doctor. When she tells him about The Whisper Men, the Doctor understands that this is the time to go to the place he must never be in. Where no creature can speak false. A place where a question that must never be answered will be asked - Trenzalore.

Story notes
- At the beginning of the episode, archive footage of William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy is shown to show Clara in the Doctor's timeline. Unknown actors, dressed like Colin Baker and Paul McGann are also shown walking past behind and in front of Clara. Some parts of Hartnell and Troughton's scenes are also played by an unknown actor who is filmed from the back.
- This story features the first time on television, viewers are shown the event of the First Doctor stealing the Tardis and escaping Gallifrey. The event had previously been seen in the comic strip adventure: Time & Time Again (comic story).
- Despite the fact that it has been stated "Slience must fall when the question is asked", there has been no evidence of this or any development on the significance of the question. In addition, the Silence do not appear, despite trying to prevent the Doctor from answering the question in Series 6
