- Upon arriving, the Third Doctor experiences a brief energy drain as the weakened Tenth Doctor draws on the energy of his past self to restore himself after his recent regeneration. After the Sycorax have been driven off, the Third Doctor briefly sees the Tenth on a video camera after his future self is returned from the Sycorax ship, with Jo Grant referring to the Tenth Doctor as 'dishy' before she learns who he is.
- The Master planned to ally himself with the Sycorax, before the Christmas decorations in Jackie's flat tied him up.
