Veklin was a Time Lord Commander during the Last Great Time War. She was described as Ollistra's most loyal servant. (AUDIO: The Side of the Angels)
Biography
She was part of the Chancellery Guard that were aiding Padrac and the Doom Coalition in their plan, not knowing their full plan. (AUDIO: The Crucible of Souls) It was later revealed that she was a spy, together with Volstrom, sent by Cardinal Ollistra. (AUDIO: Songs of Love) Arriving in New York she was tasked with looking after Liv Chenka and Helen Sinclair but they went missing. She later contacted the Monk to get him to talk with the Weeping Angels. Whilst talking the Eleven she was attacked by an angel and sent back in time 60 years. She became a gangster and helped Joanie Carrington get elected. She managed to get to Ollistra when the angels were attacking in time to see her regenerate. (AUDIO: The Side of the Angels)
Veklin served under Cardinal Ollistra during the War, and was assigned to find the War Doctor after the explosion of the Time Destructor. Later, she found him in the planet Keska. (AUDIO: The Innocent)
After the return of the Doctor in Gallifrey, she was asked by Ollistra to lead a team consisting of the Doctor, Bennus, and Arverton to rescue the Time Lord strategist Seratrix. Because the Doctor does not want to be under the team, he left them and went to the Null Zone before them. Veklin, together with the remaining members of the rescue mission, followed the Doctor to Keska. (AUDIO: The Thousand Worlds) While infiltrating the citadel, Arverton died under her watch before they reached Seratrix and the Doctor. (AUDIO: The Heart of the Battle)
During the assault of the Dalek Time Strategist on Grend, Veklin, now a commander of an entire Time Fleet, brought reinforcements for Ollistra and the War Doctor. (AUDIO: The Lady of Obsidian)
