John Lee (born 31 March 1928 Launceston, Tasmania, Australia - died 21 December 2000 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia), sometimes credited as Johnny Lee, played Alydon in the Doctor Who story The Daleks. From 1956 to 1999, he had a long and active career in film and television in his native Australia, the UK, and the US.

Besides the heroic Thal who leads his people to victory over the Daleks, Lee also appeared in two episodes of The Avengers, including "The Forget-Me-Knot," the farewell story for Diana Rigg's character of Emma Peel. He also had recurring roles as Andrew Reynolds in the Australian soap opera Prisoner: Cell Block H, and as Philip Stewart in Return to Eden, as well as parts in the television series Dobie Gillis, Danger Man, Doomwatch, A Town Like Alice, and Everyone Loves Raymond, and also in the films City Beneath the Sea, Return to Snowy River, and Two Girls and a Baby.
