Sir Lenny Henry CBE played Daniel Barton in Spyfall.

35 years earlier, Henry had also portrayed a parody version of the Doctor in a sketch on The Lenny Henry Show. Produced in 1986, this sketch predated the departure of Colin Baker, and saw Henry play the newly reincarnated Seventh Doctor (or his version of him at least), making him the first Black actor to portray the Doctor.
