Dalek Caan was the twenty-sixth The Blogs of Doom short story. It was published in Doctor Who Magazine DWM 545.
Summary
Sitting in the Crucible, Dalek Caan mutters to himself about what will come to be — how the Dark Lord of Time is coming, how his companions will soon be summoned, and reflects on how to word his next prophecy, notably deciding to foretell a loss of memories as a "death" for effect. Then his crazed mind wanders to what he has seen in the Last Great Time War, and what he has seen that is yet to happen even to the Doctor. Eventually Caan sulks about the Supreme Dalek banishing him to the Vault but giggles to himself about the revenge he has cooked up, bringing the strands of Time together to bring about the end of the Supreme's Empire.

- Dalek Caan, whose casing is peeled back, claims that he was "undressed by Could've Been Kings".
Notes
- Dalek Caan claiming that he will "dance through the fire" may be a hint that Caan survives the destruction of the Crucible in Journey's End, although only a vague and implicit one.
